Welcome to the Gold Coast Primary Schools Boccia Tournament 2026!What is Boccia you say?
Boccia is a skillful, strategic and exciting sport that allows players to participate equally regardless of age or gender. Players demonstrate precision and muscle control to throw, kick or use a ramp device to propel leather balls as close as possible to a white ball called the jack.
This is a very special event to support students with disabilities engaging in a national campaign to launch Boccia as a sport in the 2032 Disabled Olympics. With the support of Boccia Australia and Boccia Queensland, there will be 3 other primary schools joining us in the School Hall with about 8-10 students in each team.
