Benowa State School boasts a generous catchment of land,
cleverly layered with 2 oval spaces to allow students ample room for play and
team games. Centred between our feeder High School – Benowa State High, Pindara
Hospital and the Benowa Gardens shopping centre, everything is easily available
for convenient access. Our school features a gorgeous multipurpose iCentre
housing a lab, meeting rooms, reference and general resource library with a
unique ‘green screen’ for video production.
Each classroom is fitted with the necessary large screen
digital touch screen monitors, wireless connectivity and class sets of iPads.
Our activities hall with sports floor surfacing, attracts many in school and
external school programs and events. It certainly positions itself as a
community hub of activity for group events. In an area of condensed living, our
expansive grounds have become an attractive location for a range of community
based programs. New storage sheds infrastructure, a refitting and re-badging of
signage throughout the entire school, new fence lines, refurbished Early
Childhood Development Program (ECDP), refurbished Student Services Centre and a
comprehensive grounds renewal program are an indication of significant facelift
we hope to achieve in the coming few years.
