The final results for the 2023 Gold Coast Eisteddfod are in:

After 67 band performances,
Benowa State School Concert Band received the Most Outstanding Primary School Band award.

Out of 97 choir
performances, Benowa State School Senior Choir received the Most Outstanding Primary School Choir award.

Benowa State School was also awarded the 2023 Gold Coast Eisteddfod Choral Aggregate Trophy.
We are extremely proud of our Music Department and our wonderful students for their dedication and committment to our program. Congratulations!

Benowa State School has shone ever so brightly at the Gold Coast Eisteddfod this year, taking out first place in the majority of sections across strings, band and choir genres.
We thank our dedicated and talented teachers - Mrs Lyndal Solomon, Mrs Sara Jameson and Mr Austin Berscheid who conduct and coach the choirs and ensembles to an elite standard, setting the standards high, but at the same time giving our students the foundations to perform as a beautiful unit.
Thank you and congratulations to our students; for their dedication and commitment, and who represented our school with pride through following the Benowa Way.
