Your P&C is all about families, school and our community working in partnership to ensure positive educational, emotional and social outcomes for our children. We are a group of everyday parents passionate about our school and through close relationship with the school we are able to work collaboratively to provide our students with the opportunity to learn and excel in a supportive, comfortable and rewarding environment.

Your P&C welcome new members, volunteers and helpers to join in the fun and meet new people and learn new skills. Our meetings are on the 4th Wednesday every month during the school term at 6pm in the iCentre at school and everyone is welcome.

Making a difference
Through the many events and fundraisers held by the P&C Association, we can make a big difference to the school. The P&C has been able to implement items such as large fans in the hall, new signage and fencing for the school, toilet block upgrades, iPad and musical instrument purchases, air conditioning for the whole school, playground upgrades, seating for collection area and so much more. Working in partnership with the school enables us to achieve great things, all for the benefit of our students and their teachers.

Community and Events
The P&C have several partnerships with local businesses within the community and are always seeking successful and reciprocal partnerships to continue our strong community relationships well into the future.
Throughout the year your P&C organise many events to provide entertainment and encourage community and connection for our students, their families and the broader community. As well as being lots of fun, these events raise much needed funds to support the many projects and improvements required across the school. From smaller events such as movie nights, trivia nights, sausage sizzles and working bees to big events like the school fair, colour fun runs, Mother's Day and Father's Day stalls and the annual Benowa Carols.

Volunteering with your P&C
The Benowa State School is a wonderful place to get involved and we encourage all families to share some of their time to volunteer. By becoming a volunteer, you help our school and community, make new friends, learn new skills, enjoy new social and cultural experiences and best of all, you support your children in their school environment.
There are many ways you can volunteer; at P&C events and events support, at our Tuckshop helping prepare food, in the iCentre covering books or by becoming a P&C member, plus there are many more ways you can assist.

To find out more on how you can get involved, send an email to pandc@benowass.eq.edu.au

P&C Services

The P&C Association is responsible for and manage two core business services at the school; the Tuckshop and Uniform Shop and are integral fundraisers for many school projects.

The Tuckshop
Aligned with the healthy eating initiatives including Smart Choices, our Tuckshop is a central hub of the school and is supported by our volunteers as well as our permanent paid staff. The Tuckshop is open every day and caters for before school snacks and first break orders. Alternatively you can order your child's lunch online using Flexischools app (first break orders only). View more on the Tuckshop page by visiting https://benowass.eq.edu.au/facilities/tuckshop.

The Uniform Shop
The Uniform Shop is a valuable asset to our school and provides our students with affordable, quality uniforms. All uniform items (except shoes) can be purchased from our Uniform Shop with the profits going back into our school. Parents and carers of enroled students can conveniently order uniforms online using the Flexischools app. View more on the Uniform Shop page by visiting https://benowass.eq.edu.au/facilities/uniform-shop
