STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics and it is a teaching approach that integrates these disciplines in an applied way. STEM education often involves project-based learning, where students work on real-world problems and use technology to design and test solutions. STEM education also encourages collaboration, communication and critical thinking, which are essential for lifelong learning and civic engagement.
At Benowa State School we have our Contemporary Learning Hub (CLH) which provides access to high quality, innovative and engaging resources to enhance and extend student learning. The aim is to enable educators to transform learning using best practice and innovative pedagogies, coupled with current technologies, and improve outcomes which they can then translate into the classroom context.
