Harmony Day

Benowa Primary is celebrating Harmony Day on Monday, March 21st with a special activities morning. This year we are having a special assembly followed by a 'games themed' event. Children can wear their traditional dress to the assembly and can come onto the stage to show their outfits. They can change back into normal uniform afterwards. All children to wear their black joggers on the day (Monday, March 21) with their usual Monday uniform as some activities will include running around. All parents are welcome to watch from 9am.
Program:
9-9.30am - Bottom Oval - Aerial photo of 'Harmony Face'
9.30-10am - Special Assembly (including children in traditional dress)
10-11am - Prep-Year 2 Games and Dances from Around the World - around the school
11-11.45am - Morning tea for volunteers and parents (bring a plate to share)
11.45-12.45pm - Year 3-6 Games and Dances from Around the World - around the school
